Well, this didn’t change my mind about (eventually) owning a winery, that’s for sure.

I have to admit, I’m really enjoying learning more about/being part of wine country.

Over 26 million dollars worth of cars within an 1/8 square mile? I’m glad they pulled out all the stops for me* when I visited this past weekend!

I’ve realized one drawback to doing these interviews- the fact I cannot always take a picture of the person. This, as well as others in the future I’m sure, is not my photography work. It IS my interview though.
I met Ted Rubin IRL when he was in Mountain View last year. A fellow student from the Ithaca area, we hit it off right away. Today was full of film talk. I met with a film photographer today that specializes in photographing the night sky. Quite interesting! BUT that interview will be up sometime next week. Today's film photographer is Joe Sterne! He loves challenges and continues to use film to explore different viewpoints. He has a yearly project called, #projectfilm where he shoots film on a daily basis.
So after weeks upon weeks of brainstorming, we finally made it. Zach, Josh, and I (Jamie couldn’t make this time) chatted last night for the first time for our new web series, The F Stops Here. This web series will be once every couple of weeks or so and we will discuss current ideas/issues/new technology in the photography space- with our views of it. We will be also broadcasting this in podcast form on iTunes shortly. [Update- it's live!]
So while I was in Monterey a couple of weeks ago, I shot some Kodak ISO 800 film alongside digital.
